Useful Links To Other Information & Suppliers

As well as providing links to government agencies and regulation information, J&G are happy to recommend the following accredited suppliers that we deal with on a regular basis when handling certain areas of waste management. Please mention J&G when contacting these companies.

The Environment Agency

If you produce any hazardous waste you are required to register your company with the Environment Agency. Hazardous waste is any waste that is dangerous to people, the environment or animals. Under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, it is an offence to produce hazardous waste at premises, or remove that waste from premises, unless those premises are either registered with the Environment Agency or are exempt.

When you register your premises the Environment Agency give you a unique premises number called a "premises code". This is valid for 12 months from the date of registration. If hazardous waste continues to be produced or removed from these premises after the expiry date then the premises code must be renewed. You can renew a premises code up to one month in advance of the expiry date. To do this on line, please click here and follow the step by step instructions. If you encounter any problems during this process please contact us and we'll be happy to talk you through it. Please forward a copy of your confirmation of your registration to customercare@jg-environmental.com so we can update our records.
