IPEX Enviro-Partner Role for J&G
Monday 14th December 2009
One of the industry's most eagerly-anticipated global events - the giant International Printing Exhibition (IPEX) - will take place at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre in May.
It will be a busy time for J&G, who will not only be joining the exhibitors showing off products and services (Stand 09-F316) but also working alongside the PrintWeek magazine team producing IPEX Daily - the exhibition's official newspaper.
The Daily will be distributed widely at the show and dozens of other locations including Birmingham International Airport and train stations and keep visitors up to date with news from across the event.
The entire paper will be produced on-site at the show by a team of production partners, and PrintWeek have chosen J&G to be its environmental partner responsible for handling all printing waste arising from its daily production.
PrintWeek publishing director Wayne Manning said J & G had been "the obvious choice" for the task. "We were looking for just the right company to take on this role and of course we thought of J&G because of its strong environmental record."
J&G's team will also be handling all print waste collection from a number of other exhibition stands.
IPEX takes place between 18-25 May 2010. It was last held in 2006 when it attracted over 100,000 visitors from 159 countries.
