J&G Win Environmental Award

The Environmental Excellence category of the prestigious Dorset Business Awards has been won by J & G Environmental, the leading provider of environmentally-friendly waste collection and recycling services to the printing industry.
The Blandford-based company, which handles the waste from thousands of printing companies, was chosen by the judges as the entrant most able to demonstrate a defined environmental policy combined with evidence of a strong commitment to sound environmental good practice.
J&G managing director, Steve Armstrong, who was presented with the award by Chris Kenny from sponsors BP during a dinner at the Bournemouth International Centre, said: "Being Dorset born and bred I am particularly proud to have won this award although it would not have been possible without the hard work put in by all our staff to ensure we maintain the highest possible level of environmental good practice in everything we do."
