J&G Supports The Best Of British Printing
Friday 3rd March 2006
J&G is totally committed to serving the printing industry and is proud to be able to help celebrate everything that's best in British printing by sponsoring this year's blue riband UK Printing Company of the Year Award - one of fifteen British Printing Industries Federation Excellence Awards to be announced in April.
The awards, which aim to recognise and stimulate world-class business performance among UK printing companies, are being run in conjunction with the huge IPEX exhibition to be staged at Birmingham's NEC on April 4-11 when industry representatives from around the world will be showing their wares.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on April 6.
It will be the first time J&G has sponsored such a prestigious industry prize and reflects the company's mission to help create a more environmentally-responsible industry as well as underlining J&G's contribution to achieving that goal in the vital area of waste management.
The company also hopes that by associating itself with a high-profile industry event, it will emphasise the importance of environmental management to business success and create awareness of the key role waste management can play in that process.
Said J&G managing director Steve Armstrong: "We've been working extremely closely with the industry over many years by providing specialist waste management services to hundreds of companies, so we're proud to be sponsoring this award which allows us to participate in a scheme which highlights the best of British printing."
"We make no secret of the fact that our goal is to see a printing industry that understands and respects its responsibility for the waste it generates and is aware of the expertise and enthusiasm J&G can provide to help meet that target."
"Our aim will always be to achieve the same excellence in our own business that will be celebrated by these awards."
"By working in close partnership with our customers, we can help every single one of them to achieve what we ourselves have achieved - the position where none of their waste ends up in landfill
"What a bonus that would be for the environment!"
