The Queen's Award for Sustainable Development
The Queen's AwardThe Queen's Award for Sustainable Development recognises businesses which have made outstanding advances or have a high level of continuous achievement, in the environmental and social impacts included in sustainable development. In 2003 the J&G Environmental's environmental record was recognised when it was awarded the Queen's Award for Sustainable Development - the first company in its sector to achieve this recognition of excellence.
ISO 14001

It is an environmental management standard that exist to help organisations minimise how their operations negatively affect the environment. It is now widely recognised as an effective element in sustaining the environment for future generations.

FORS Bronze (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme)The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme that aims to improve fleet activity throughout the UK and beyond. It recognises fleet operations which comply with the requirements of the FORS standard, based upon lawfulness, safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.

Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) LicenceThe Environmental Protection Act 1990 introduced measures to reduce and control emissions to air, land and water from specific industrial processes. A PPC licence is issued jointly by the Environment Agency and local authority and is a requirement for certain types of waste treatment and disposal.
