Cleansing Service Group
J&G Environmental is now the specialist printing waste management division of Cleansing Service Group (CSG) - one of the country's most respected and experienced waste management organisations.
Expert waste management with a long pedigree
CSG was established as far back as 1934 and has grown to become one of the largest privately-owned waste management groups in Britain. It operates across many sectors, with a customer base including Government departments, local authorities, utility companies, major supermarket groups and garage chains.
Based near Southampton, where the business was formed 75 years ago, CSG is now a national organisation with depots throughout the country, including a major waste processing centre at Cadishead near Manchester where it has pioneered a number of advanced processes for the safe handling of hazardous waste to Best Available Technology (BAT) standards. CSG is among the UK's leaders in the collection and processing of liquid wastes, with the largest industrial aqueous waste treatment capacity in the country. It also operates the UK's largest fleet of specifically-designed waste road tankers.
Like J&G, the group places great emphasis on caring for the environment, and is committed to providing environmentally-sound and operationally-safe waste management services by offering advice, guidance and practical assistance to customers seeking to 'green' their waste management procedures.
CSG is a keen supporter of the UK Wildlife Trusts movement as well as a significant corporate contributor to the World Land Trust (WLT) - an international conservation organisation which protects some of the world's last remaining wildlife habitats.
Even more services available
The two companies collaborated for many years prior to J&G becoming part of Cleansing Service Group, which provided J&G with specialist print waste handling facilities at its Cadishead site where huge volumes of print by-products are processed and recycled. Over the years, the companies have worked together to put in place a whole range of highly-developed collection, technical and processing services specifically designed with the print industry in mind. Both companies enjoy strongly-established reputations for quality customer care facilities, based on personal service, as well as sector-leading technical expertise in the handling of a huge range of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
The considerable combined resources, experience and facilities of the two organisations means that J&G can offer its customers an even greater range of services by providing the most comprehensive waste management facility yet available to the printing industry. As part of Cleansing Service Group, J&G aims to provide a total waste management service designed to help customers at a time when waste disposal is becoming an increasingly demanding management function for all print companies.
